How Do You Choose the Right Bra Size?

You may have thought you knew your bra size; you may have been the same bra size for years. However, even small changes in your weight can affect the size of bra you should be wearing. To find out, grab your most comfortable bra that doesn’t include any extra padding (as this could falsely affect the size) and put it on. In front of the mirror, wrap a measuring tape around where the underwire usually sits, but be sure not to pull it too tight. Check the measurements in inches and round up to the nearest even number. This will be your back size.

Next, move the tape measure up to the fullest part of your bust, again not too tight, and take the reading. Take back size measurement away from your bust measurement, and this will be you’re your cup size. Each inch difference between the two measurements is an extra cup size. For example, 37 inches – 34 inches = 3 inches, which will equal a 34C.

How Do You Wash Bras?

We recommend always hand-washing bras to save wonky wires, bunching of padding or loss of elastic in the fabric that can happen when machine washing. To hand-wash your bras, simply soak them in cool water and gentle detergent and gently rub your bra all over and rinse with cool, clean water until it runs clear.

Avoid drying your bras in the tumble dryer or direct sunlight as this can cause heat damage that affects the colour and fit. Always air dry.
